To access these apps:
Go to office.com.
Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
Click Apps.

What Is Included with the Ultimate License?
Ultimate licenses include access to:
Desktop apps â installable versions for your computer

Install Microsoft 365 Desktop Apps
If your Ultimate license includes desktop apps, you can install them on your computer.
Go to office.com.
Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
Click Apps.
Select Install apps.
Follow the on-screen installation instructions.
Once the installation is complete, you can use the full desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft 365 applications on your computer.

I don't see the "Install apps" option
The Install apps option may not be available with your license. Check that you are signed in with the correct Microsoft 365 account and that your subscription includes desktop applications.
Do I need to install the apps with a Basic license?
No. Basic licenses provide web-based versions of the included apps, which you can use directly in your browser.
