How to Add a Google Calendar to Your Website

This guide shows you how to embed a Google Calendar on your website using an HTML or Embed widget. You’ll first make your calendar public, copy the embed code, and then add it to your website.

Prerequisites

Before you start:

  • Have access to the Google account that manages the calendar.

  • Use a computer to configure the calendar. Mobile devices are not supported for this step.

Make Your Google Calendar Public

  1. Open Google Calendar and log in to your Google account.

  2. Click the Settings ⚙️ icon in the top right.

  3. Select the calendar you want to embed from the left menu.

  4. Under Access permissions for events, enable Make available to public.

  5. Scroll down to Integrate calendar.

  6. Copy the automatically generated <iframe> code.

💡 Tip: Click Customize to adjust the calendar's size, layout, navigation buttons, date picker, and available calendar views. Then copy the updated <iframe> code.

Embed the Calendar on Your Website

  1. Log in to your Sitebuilder.

  2. Open the page where you want to display the calendar.

  3. Add an HTML or Embed widget to your page.

  4. Paste the <iframe> code from Google Calendar into the widget.

  5. Save and publish the page.

Additional Features

Visitors can use Add to Google Calendar to subscribe to your calendar.

When customizing the calendar, you can choose which elements and views to display, such as:
