Troubleshooting / FAQs

Why can't Google verify my website?

Check that you copied the complete HTML verification tag, added it to Head Scripts, saved your changes, and published your website. Then try verification again.

How long does Google indexing take?

Indexing time varies. It may take several days or weeks for Google to discover and index your pages. Submitting a sitemap does not guarantee that your website will be indexed or appear in search results.

Does submitting a sitemap guarantee a Google ranking?

No. A sitemap helps Google discover your pages, but indexing and search rankings depend on several factors.

Summary / Next Steps

  1. Add your website to Google Search Console.

  2. Verify ownership using the HTML tag in SiteBuilder.

  3. Submit your sitemap.

  4. Monitor indexing status and any reported issues in Google Search Console.

Your website is now submitted for Google's consideration. Allow time for Google to crawl and index your pages.
