How to Add a Video to Your Website

This guide shows you how to add a video to your website using either a Video section or a Video widget. You’ll also learn how to adjust basic video settings such as autoplay, mute, and alignment.

Prerequisites

Before you start:

  • Have the URL of the video you want to add.

  • Videos from YouTube and Vimeo are supported.

Add a Video as a Section

  1. Click Add Content in the top menu.

  2. Select Add Section.

  3. Choose Video from the category list on the left.

  4. Select the layout you want to use.

  5. Click Add Section.

  6. Click the video to open its settings.

  7. Paste the video URL into the provided field.

  8. Click Save.

Add a Video as a Widget

  1. Click Add Content in the top menu.

  2. Select Add Widget.

  3. Find the Video widget.

  4. Drag and drop the widget to the desired location on your page.

  5. Click the widget to open its settings.

  6. Paste the video URL into the provided field.

  7. Click Save.

Adjust Video Settings

Select the video to open its settings. You can adjust:

  • Autoplay – Automatically starts the video when the page loads.

  • Mute – Plays the video without sound.

  • Loop – Automatically restarts the video after it finishes.

  • Video Alignment – Aligns the video to the left, center, or right.

  • Aspect Ratio – Adjusts the video dimensions to fit your design.


Troubleshooting

If your video doesn't display correctly:

  • Check that the video URL is correct and accessible.

  • Make sure you're using a supported video service, such as YouTube or Vimeo.

  • Preview your page to confirm that the video displays as expected.

  • Keep in mind that large videos can affect page loading times.
