How to Add a PDF to Your Website

You can add a PDF to your website using a PDF widget or a pre-built section. Visitors can open the PDF directly from your website.

Prerequisites / Requirements

  • Access to your Sitebuilder.

  • The PDF file you want to upload.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Option 1: Add a PDF Widget

  1. Enter Edit mode and click Add Content in the top menu.

  2. Select Add Widget.

  3. Find and select PDF.

  4. Drag and drop the widget to the desired location on your page.

  5. Click Upload and select your PDF file.

Your PDF is now available on your website.

Option 2: Add a PDF Section

  1. Click Add Content in Edit mode.

  2. Select Add Section.

  3. Choose Add section here where you want the PDF to appear.

  4. Select the Files tab.

  5. Choose the layout you want to use.

  6. Click Upload and select your PDF file.

You can move the section afterward if needed.

Why can't I open the PDF in Edit mode?

PDF files cannot be opened directly in Edit mode. Use Preview or publish your website to test the PDF.

Can I make the PDF download automatically?

No. The PDF opens in the visitor's browser. The visitor must download the file manually from the browser.

Can I move the PDF after adding it?

Yes. You can move the PDF widget or section to another location on the page.
