How to Change php.ini Settings in cPanel

This guide shows you how to change your PHP version and php.ini settings in cPanel.

Prerequisites

  • An active Miss Hosting web hosting package.

  • Access to your cPanel account.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to cPanel

Log in to cPanel through your Miss Hosting Customer Zone.

2. Open PHP Settings

In cPanel:

  1. Scroll down to the Software section.

  2. Click Select PHP Version.

3. Select Your PHP Version

By default, the PHP version may be set to native, which means the server's global PHP settings are used.

  1. Open the PHP version dropdown menu.

  2. Select the PHP version you want to use.

4. Change php.ini Settings

After selecting your PHP version:

  1. Open the PHP version dropdown again if needed.

  2. Review the available PHP settings.

  3. Change the settings you need.

  4. Click Save to apply your changes.
