How to Upload Files Through cPanel

This guide shows you how to upload files to your website using cPanel's File Manager.

Prerequisites

  • An active Miss Hosting web hosting package.

  • Access to your cPanel account.

  • The files you want to upload saved on your computer.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to cPanel

Log in to cPanel through your Miss Hosting Customer Zone.

2. Open File Manager

In cPanel:

  1. Go to the Files section.

  2. Click File Manager.

3. Open the Destination Folder

In File Manager, navigate to the folder where you want to upload your files.

💡 Tip: Make sure you select the correct folder before uploading. Files uploaded to the wrong directory may not appear on your website as expected.

4. Upload Your Files

  1. Click Upload in the top toolbar.

  2. Click Browse or Choose File, depending on your browser.

  3. Select the file from your computer.

The upload will start automatically. You can select additional files while the upload is in progress.

Where should I upload my website files?

Upload your website files to the directory configured for your domain. If you're unsure which folder to use, check your domain's configuration in cPanel or contact Miss Hosting support.

My file did not upload

Check that:

  • The file is within the allowed upload size.

  • Your internet connection is stable.

  • You have enough available storage.

  • The file appears in the selected folder after the upload finishes.

Result

Your files are now uploaded to the selected folder in cPanel and are ready to use on your website.
