How to Create a New Email Account

This guide shows you how to create a new email account in cPanel.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • An active Miss Hosting account.

  • Access to cPanel.

  • An available email account slot in your hosting package.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to cPanel

Sign in to your Miss Hosting account and open cPanel.

2. Open Email Accounts

Scroll down to the Email section and click Email Accounts.

3. Click Create

On the Email Accounts page, click + Create in the top-right corner.

You can also see:

  • Available / Used – shows how many email accounts your hosting package allows and how many you have created.

  • Existing accounts – shows your current email accounts and available actions, such as Check Email, Manage, and Connect Devices.

4. Enter the email account details

Set up your new email account:

  1. Username: Enter the name you want to use, such as info, support, or your first name. This becomes part of your email address.

  2. Password: Select Set password now and enter a strong password, or click Generate to create one automatically.

  3. Storage limit: If you want to set a storage limit, click Edit Settings. Otherwise, the account has unrestricted storage by default.

  4. Click + Create.

💡 Tip: If you use the password generator, save the password somewhere secure before continuing.


5. Access your new email account

Your new email account is now active. You can:

  • Click Check Email to access your mailbox through Webmail.

  • Click Connect Devices to find setup instructions for Outlook, Apple Mail, Gmail, and other email clients.

Troubleshooting / FAQs

I can't create a new email account. What should I do?

Check the Available / Used counter on the Email Accounts page. If you have reached your hosting package's email account limit, you may need to upgrade your package or remove an existing account.

Can I change the password after creating the account?

Yes. Open Email Accounts, find the account, and click Manage to change its password.

Can I set a storage limit?

Yes. Click Edit Settings when creating the account to configure a storage limit.
