šŸŒ Transfer a Domain from Miss Hosting to Another Provider

When you transfer a domain to another provider, you’ll need an authorization code (also called auth code or EPP code).

How it works:

  • Request the code from your current provider (it’s usually sent to the email address listed in WHOIS).

  • Provide the code to your new provider, who will then initiate the transfer.

  • A transfer typically takes 1–7 days, but often completes within 24 hours.

  • Once finished, all WHOIS information is copied to the new provider, and you can manage the domain there (e.g., update nameservers).

šŸ“ Step-by-Step: Transfer a Domain from Miss Hosting

1. Log in to the Client Area

2. Open My Domains

  • Click ā€œDomainsā€ in the left-hand menu or via the button on the right.

  • Select ā€œMy Domainsā€.

3. Select the Domain

  • Find the domain you want to transfer.

  • Click the settings icon (wrench).

  • Double-check you’ve selected the correct domain.

4. Get the EPP Code

  • Click ā€œManage your domainā€.

  • Choose ā€œGet EPP Codeā€.

šŸ‘‰ If the domain is locked:

  • Click ā€œRegistrar Lockā€ and select ā€œDisable Registrar Lockā€.

šŸ‘‰ If the domain is locked:

  • Select ā€œDisable Registrar Lockā€. Then return and click ā€œGet EPP Codeā€.

ā„¹ļø Important Information

  • If you can’t retrieve your EPP code, contact our support team and we’ll send it via email.

  • Note: At least 60 days must have passed since the domain was registered or last updated before an EPP code can be issued.

  • For .SE and .NU domains, this restriction does not apply.

āœ… Summary

  1. Log in to the Client Area and open My Domains.

  2. Select the domain and click Get EPP Code.

  3. Unlock the domain if Registrar Lock is enabled.

  4. Provide the EPP code to your new provider to start the transfer.
