Do you have a domain registered with another provider? You can easily transfer it to Miss Hosting. We will manage the domain for you, ensure it renews on time, and point it correctly. This is recommended for all our customers to keep everything in one place.
To transfer a domain, you need an authorization code (also called auth code or EPP code). Youāll receive this from your current provider, and itās only accessible to the domain owner. A transfer usually takes around 24 hours, but in some cases can take up to a week. Specific requirements and timeframes vary by domain type (TLD). For example, .fi domains also require an ownership change code under certain conditions, while .no domain transfers may involve additional verification steps to confirm ownership.
š Step-by-Step: How to Transfer Your Domain
Step 1: Get Your Authorization Code
Contact your current domain provider or log in to their control panel.
Unlock the domain (if necessary).
Request your auth/EPP code.
Step 2: Start the Transfer at Miss Hosting
Log in to the Client Area.
Click āDomainsā in the left menu.
Select āTransfer in a Domainā.
Enter your domain name and auth/EPP code.
Click āAdd to Cartā.
Step 3: Confirm Domain Information
Your domain will now appear along with the auth/EPP code.
If the field is empty, enter the code manually.
Add your personal ID number and VAT/Tax registration number (if applicable).
Click āContinueā.
ā ļø Leave the nameservers unchanged (they should show as Misspark) so DNS settings can be managed in your profile.
Step 4: Go to Checkout
Youāll be taken to the Checkout/Cart.
Click āBuy nowā to proceed.
Step 5: Complete the Order
Double-check your account details.
If youād like, you can also create a sub-account here.
Scroll down, select a payment method, and click āComplete Orderā.

Your domain transfer is now in progress and usually completes within 24 hours. Each TLD may also have unique pricing and requirements, which are outlined in our FAQ or support documentation. However, the completion time may vary for specific TLDs, such as .fi or .no domains, which may involve additional checks or documentation.
