SAFE ID-Protection: How to Verify Your Domain

Verify your domain using email verification or a DNS TXT record to activate monitoring with SAFE ID-Protection.

Prerequisites

  • An active SAFE ID-Protection account.

  • Access to your ID-Protection portal.

  • Access to your domain's DNS settings if using TXT verification.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log In to the ID-Protection Portal

Log in to your ID-Protection account and click the green box to open the Settings page.

2. Start Domain Verification

  1. Open the Settings tab.

  2. Find the Domains section.

  3. Click Verify to begin the verification process.

3. Choose a Verification Method

Option 1: Verify by Email

  1. Select an email address from the dropdown menu.

  2. Open the verification email.

  3. Follow the instructions to complete verification.

Option 2: Verify Using a DNS TXT Record

  1. Scroll down to step 4 in the verification instructions.

  2. Copy the unique TXT code shown under Value.

  3. Log in to your domain provider's DNS management panel.

  4. Add the TXT record to your domain's DNS configuration.

  5. Return to the ID-Protection portal and follow the instructions to complete verification.
