How to showcase your images using the gallery widget

📷 What is a gallery widget?

The gallery widget allows you to display a collection of images on your website in various styles. You can create everything from a simple grid to a dynamic “masonry” gallery — perfect for showcasing photos, artwork, or other visual media in a stylish and organized way.


⚠️ Gallery widget limitations

For optimal performance on your website, the following are recommended:

  • Max 75 small images (approx. 10 KB each) or

  • Max 20 large images (approx. 9 MB each) per gallery widget

  • Max 2 gallery widgets per page


➕ How to add a gallery

You can add a gallery in two ways:

1. Add a gallery as a section

  1. Click on “Add Content” in the top menu

  2. Select “Add Section”

  3. Choose the “Gallery & Slideshow” category on the left

  4. Click on a gallery layout you want to use

Why choose this?
Sections come with pre-designed layouts — with or without spacing, in grid or masonry style.

2. Add a gallery widget to an existing section

  1. Click on “Add Content” in the top menu

  2. Select “Add Widget”

  3. Locate “Gallery” in the widget menu

  4. Drag and drop the widget to the desired location on the page

Why choose this?
Provides more flexibility — perfect if you already have a section and just want to add a gallery there.


🖼️ Add images to your gallery

  1. Click on the gallery widget you added

  2. Click on “Manage Images”

  3. Click on “Add Images”

  4. Upload your images

    You can always add or remove images later!


⚙️ Image settings

Click on an image to edit its settings on the left:

  • Add a link to the image

  • Title and description — displayed when the visitor hovers over the image

  • Remove the image from the gallery

↕️ Change the order of images

  • Drag and drop the images in the order you want them.

💡 Tip: Use high-quality images for the best visual impression, but consider the file size to keep loading times fast.
