Step-by-Step Instructions
Option 1: Use cPanel Zone Editor
1. Open Zone Editor
In cPanel:
Go to Domains.
Click Zone Editor.
2. Select Your Domain
Click Manage next to the domain you want to point to your VPS.
3. Add DNS Records
Click Add Record.
Select the required record type, such as A, CNAME, or MX.
Enter the required value or target.
Click Add Record to save.
Repeat these steps for each DNS record you need to add.
4. Wait for DNS Propagation
DNS changes can take up to 24–48 hours to propagate globally.
Option 2: Use OnApp DNS
1. Log in to OnApp
Open your OnApp control panel using the login address provided for your server.
For example:
https://[your-server-ip]/login
2. Create a DNS Zone
In OnApp:
Click DNS in the left-hand menu.
Click Add New Zone.
Enter your domain name.
Click Create.
3. Add DNS Records
Click View Records next to your DNS zone.
Click Add New Record.
Select the required record type, such as A, CNAME, or MX.
Enter the required information, such as the hostname or IP address.
Click Create to save the record.
Repeat these steps for each DNS record you need to add.
4. Update Your Nameservers
After creating the DNS zone and adding your records, update the nameservers at your domain registrar to:
ns1.missdns.netns2.missdns.netns3.missdns.netns4.missdns.net
