🔒How to password-protect pages using folders

In Sitebuilder you can password-protect specific parts of your website by using folders. All pages placed inside a password-protected folder require login to be viewed.

Follow the steps below to enable password protection:

1. Open the Pages manager

  • Click the “Pages” tab at the top of the menu.

3. Enable password protection

  • Check the “Password protection” box.

  • Enter a username and password that will be used to access the pages inside the folder.

  • Give the folder a name — this is what will appear in your menu.

4. Add pages to the folder

4.1 If the page already exists

  • Hover over the six dots to the left of the page name in the menu.

  • Drag the page and drop it under the folder to move it in.

4.2 The Index page in a folder

  • When you create a folder an Index page is automatically created.

  • This page cannot be deleted or moved out of the folder.

  • Want to rename it? Click the three dots to the right of the page and choose “Rename.”

💡Tip: All pages in a password-protected folder require the same username and password — convenient when you want to protect multiple pages at once.
Need several protected areas with different logins? Create a separate folder for each area.
