Setting up your email on an iPhone is a straightforward process, but before you can set it up on your iPhone, you first need to get your corresponding IMAP-settings.

You can get these settings by following the guide linked below.

Once you have acquired your server-settings, follow the guide below to setup your e-mail:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

  2. Scroll down and tap on "Passwords & Accounts."

  3. Tap on "Add Account."

  4. Here you will get several options. Click on "Other" which is at the bottom.

  5. Tap on "Add E-mail Account"

  6. Enter your email address and password.

  7. Select "IMAP".

You will get two fields labelled Incoming server and Outgoing sever. The following section is segmented into two parts in order to help you set this up correctly.

Incoming Mail Server

Host Name
For the Host Name you need to enter the Hostname given to you by the cPanel.

Username

Enter your E-mail adress as the username. This is mandatory regardless of what the iPhone says.

Password

Enter your password you've set for your account. This is mandatory regardless of what the iPhone says.

Your settings should end up looking something like this:

Incoming Server
Host Name: cpsrv##.misshosting.com

Password: ********

Outgoing Mail Server

Host Name
For the Host Name you need to enter the Hostname given to you by the cPanel.

Username

Enter your E-mail adress as the username. This is mandatory regardless of what the iPhone says.

Password

Enter your password you've set for your account. This is mandatory regardless of what the iPhone says.

Your settings should end up looking something like this.

Outgoing Server
Host Name: cpsrv##.misshosting.com

Password: ********

Now tap "Next" and wait for your iPhone to verify your account details.

Tap "Save" to finish setting up your email account.

Once you've completed these steps, you should be able to access your email from the built-in Mail app on your iPhone.
