How to upload a PDF on your website

Updated yesterday

📄Option 1: Add PDF as a widget

1️⃣ Enter edit mode and click “Add Content” in the menu.
2️⃣ Choose “Add Widget”.
3️⃣ Scroll down and select “PDF”.
4️⃣ Drag and drop the widget where you want the PDF to appear on the page.
(You can always move the widget later if you’re not happy with its placement.)
5️⃣ Click the “Upload” button and upload the PDF you want to display.
6️⃣ Done! Your PDF is now available on your website.

📄Option 2: Add PDF as a pre-built section

1️⃣ Click “Add Content” in edit mode.
2️⃣ Select “Add Section”.
3️⃣ Click “Add section here” in the location where you want to insert your PDF section.
(You can move the section up or down afterward.)
4️⃣ Switch to the “Files” tab.
5️⃣ Choose the layout that best suits your PDF display, and click “Upload” to upload your PDF.

⚙️ Adjust button settings

If you want to change how the button that opens the PDF works, you can easily customize it:

  • Click the button to open its settings.

  • Here you can:
     * Change the button label/name
     * Choose whether to show or hide the file name
     * Adjust the text size
     * Change the button placement

ℹ️ Things to keep in mind

  • The PDF file cannot be opened in edit mode. Use Preview or publish the page to check that it works correctly.

  • It is not possible to trigger an automatic PDF download via a button — the PDF will open in the browser, and the visitor will have to download it manually from there.
