What is SEO? Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the practice of improving search engine rankings by including content and other information that search engines look for.

Search rankings are influenced by many factors, including links from other websites and high-quality content. A good place to start learning about SEO is https://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-seo.

Edit your SEO details

  1. Click on the roll-down menu in the top left corner and then select Website Settings.

  2. Click on Website Health and SEO.

    About SEO

    Title

    This title will be set as the default for every page on your website.

    Page Titles

    Use unique page titles for each page on your website. This helps with indexing.

    Language

    The main language used on the website.

    Description

    This is a summary of your website that search engines display to help people decide if they want to visit your site.

    Description Tips:

    Keep it short - under 150 characters.

    Be concise and informative.

    Keywords

    These are words and phrases that help search engines link your website content to a related search.

    Keyword Tips:

    Keywords should be used consistently throughout your website - in content, page titles, and in your SEO settings.

    Update your keywords regularly.

    Try to use keywords that represent your website rather than choosing what you think will be popular.

    Do not repeat keywords.

    Page Settings and SEO

    Every page on your website needs basic SEO information.

    Give each page an appropriate title and description.

    Click on the More button (⋮).

    Select Edit Page Settings.

    "Page Title" is the title that will be displayed on your website.

    The title tag in the browser may contain some additional brief information about your website. For example: "Mountain Tours - Contact Us".

    The Page URL is the path to the page, e.g., www.yoursite.com/tours. In most cases, you can leave this unchanged.

    Page Status: If you want this page to be hidden when the website is published, for example, if it's not yet ready, set the status to offline.

    Keywords: Add some descriptive keywords for your page - do not repeat words or use too many.

    Description: Should be a brief description of the page that you want to appear in a search engine listing.

    Hide from navigation: If you don't want to display the page in the website's menu/navigation.

    Use as homepage: If you want to use a specific page as the "homepage" for your website.
