You can use Softaculous in your cPanel to import your WordPress installation remotely by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account and scroll to the bottom to the Softaculous icon.

  2. Click on the "WordPress" icon to open the Softaculous WordPress installer.

  3. On the WordPress installer page, click on the "Import" tab.

  4. Enter the URL of your remote WordPress installation in the "Remote URL" field. Make sure to include the http:// or https:// prefix.

  5. Enter the administrator username and password for the remote WordPress site in the "Username" and "Password" fields.

  6. Choose the protocol (http or https) and domain from the drop-down menus. You can also select a directory if you want to install WordPress in a subdirectory.

  7. Select any additional options you want, such as automatic updates, backups, or email notifications.

  8. Click on the "Import" button to start the import process. Softaculous will download the files and database from your remote WordPress site and install them on your current hosting account.

  9. Once the import is complete, you can log in to your new WordPress site with the administrator username and password from the remote site. You may need to update any links or settings that reference the old site's URL.

That's it! Your remote WordPress site has now been imported to your new hosting account using Softaculous.
