A full cPanel backup makes a copy of all of your files, email, databases, etc. Once initiated, you must allow the backup time to perform. The server can send you an email to an address you specify once the backup is ready to download. The steps for generating, downloading, and restoring a full backup are explained in detail below.

Note: Shared and Reseller plans may only create cPanel backups of up to 10 GB with 150,000 inodes or less. If your backup is larger than 10GB or has more than 150,000 please contact Miss Hosting Support!

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.

  2. Navigate to the "Backup" option in the cPanel dashboard.

  3. Click on the "Download a Full Website Backup" button.

  4. Select the backup destination and enter an email address to receive a notification when the backup is complete.

  5. Choose a backup file format. You can select from "Home Directory," "MySQL Databases," and "Email Forwarders and Filters".

  6. Click on the "Generate Backup" button to start the backup process.

  7. Wait for the backup process to complete.

  8. Once the backup is complete, you will receive an email notification with a link to download the backup file.

That's it! With these steps, you can easily create a full cPanel backup of your website. It is recommended that you perform regular backups of your website to ensure that you have a recent and reliable copy of your site in case of any issues.
