In this guide, we will go through how you can transfer existing email to your Misshosting account.
Create email accounts that you have with your old provider on your new Misshosting account. If you use cPanel, you can easily do this through your control panel. Make sure to double-check that the spelling is exactly the same.
Use the same password for all the accounts you use with your old provider. You can change the passwords at a later stage if you wish.
In your email client, set up your email accounts alongside your old account (same username/password).
Both must be configured to connect using IMAP.
The incoming server (or IMAP server) will be different for each account. You should look up the settings to use with Misshosting before.
Once all accounts are set up, with folders for both the old accounts and the accounts created with Misshosting's mail settings, "pull over" messages from your old folders to the new ones.
That's it! If you have a lot of email, give it some time for all the mail to be transferred. You have now moved all your mail from the old email server to your Misshosting account.
